Experiencia multidisciplinar para introducir los ODS en automática

Abstract

[Resumen] Este trabajo presenta de forma resumida el diseño y los resultados obtenidos en un proyecto de innovación educativa orientado a introducir de forma multidisciplinar los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible (ODS) en el ámbito del grado de Ingeniería en Electrónica Industrial y Automática. El proyecto se ha realizado a lo largo del curso 2022/23 en la Escuela de Ingeniería de Vitoria-Gasteiz, UPV/EHU (EIVG), y se han aplicado metodologías activas. A la hora de implantar estas metodologías se recomienda utilizar problemas relacionados con el mudo real que además sean cercanos al alumnado. Concretamente, se planteó el problema de optimizar el grado de confort térmico en el edificio de la EIVG y al mismo tiempo reducir el gasto energético. Este problema sirvió de hilo conductor para que el alumnado lo analizase desde diferentes perspectivas, conociese los ODS y visualizara cómo contribuir a su consecución, a través de acciones concretas, utilizando los conocimientos adquiridos durante el grado. Para fomentar el conocimiento multidisciplinar se analizó el problema por medio de acciones seleccionadas realizadas en diferentes asignaturas. Durante el proyecto se diseñó un itinerario educativo que cubre todos los cursos del grado. Los resultados obtenidos prueban que el proyecto permitió concienciar al alumnado acerca de los ODS, así como ilustrar cómo se puede contribuir a su consecución desde los estudios de ingeniería. Además, se consiguió conectar con acciones de mayor calado desarrolladas en el ámbito de los TFG. Por último, se pretendió concienciar al alumnado acerca de que la consecución de los ODS puede constituir un posible futuro campo profesional.

[Abstract] This paper summarizes the design of an educational innovation project and obtained results. The project aims at introducing the sustainable development goals (SDG) in a multidisciplinary way within the scope of the Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering degree. It has been developed throughout the 2022/23 academic year at the Faculty of Engineering of Vitoria-Gasteiz (EIGV), UPV/EHU, applying active methodologies. The implementation of those methodologies recommends the analysis of problems connected to the real world that are close to the students. The proposed problem was the optimization of the degree of thermal comfort in the EIVG while reducing the energy consumption. This problem became a common thread that was analysed from different perspectives, one per subject. Students also learned about the SDGs and visualized how to contribute to their achievement through concrete actions using the knowledge acquired during the degree. In order to promote multidisciplinary knowledge, the problem was analysed through selected actions carried out in different subjects. Along the project implementation, an educational itinerary that covers all the courses of the degree was designed. The analysis of the results proves that the project made it possible to raise awareness about the SDGs among students. This project also illustrates how engineering studies may contribute to achieving the SDGs. The presented approach also connected with more deep actions carried out in the Final Degree Projects. Finally, it was intended to raise awareness among students so that they consider the achievement of the SDGs as a possible future professional activity.
