La semana de la ciencia: propuesta interdisciplinar de alfabetización científica para el alumnado de educación infantil

Abstract

[Resumen] En las aulas de Educación Infantil surgen en el alumnado muchas preguntas acerca de su entorno más cercano, tales como algo qué flota en el agua, dos objetos que se atraen, por qué se hace de noche, el aire tiene fuerza, etc. Con la Semana de la Ciencia, se pretende que los niños y niñas, desde edades tempranas, adquieran unos conocimientos científicos a través de su propia experiencia, indagando, planteándose ideas, reflexionando, etc. Es importante que interaccionen con los objetos, que los manipule para adquirir información de ellos. De igual forma, es relevante desarrollar la curiosidad y el interés de este alumnado hacia el mundo que les rodea, proporcionándole actividades y experiencias que los lleve a querer saber más, a la vez que al disfrute en la realización de experimentos científicos.
