Mulleres colleiteiras e alumnado de Educación Social: unha experiencia de aprendizaje e servizo

Abstract

[Resumo] No curso 2015/16, o alumnado de 1º e 3º de Educación Social participou nun proxecto de Aprendizaxe e Servicio (ApS) co colectivo de “Mulleres colleiteiras”. Os obxectivos fóron visibilizar o seu traballo de recollida e valorización dun residuo –aceites domésticos usados– e conseguir maior apoio da comunidade universitaria na recollida. “Mulleres colleiteiras” son unha cooperativa de traballo asociado formado por mulleres en situación de exclusión social, co apio da ONGD Arquitectura sen Fronteiras. A súa iniciativa ten un triple beneficio: económico, social e ambiental. O alumnado -no marco de tres materias- deseñou unha campaña de sensibilización centrada en tres dimensións: coñecer as razóns de exclusión social e laboral deste colectivo, coñecer os problemas do verquido de aceite doméstico na rede de auga potable e coñecer en profundidade a iniciativa das “mulleres colleiteiras”. Os resultados foron moi positivos por: o incremento de aceite recollido, o recoñecemento que recibiron as mulleres e a satisfacción do alumnado en aunar coñecemento-acción-transformación.

[Abstract] In the 2015/16 academic year, the 1st and 3rd year students of Social Education participated in a Learning and Service project (ApS) with the collective “Mulleres colleiteiras”. The objectives have been to make visible their work of collecting and valuing a waste -used household oils- and getting more support from the university community in the collection. “Mulleres colleiteiras” is a cooperative of associated work formed by women in social exclusion situation with the support of ONGD Arquitectura sen Fronteiras. Your initiative has a triple benefit: economic, social and environmental. The students -in the framework of three subjects- designed an awareness campaign focused on three dimensions: knowing the reasons for the social and labor exclusion of this group, knowing the problems of the spill of domestic oil in the drinking water network and knowing in the initiative of the “mulleres colleiteiras”. The results were very positive because of: the increase in oil collected, the recognition women received for their work and the satisfaction of the students when combining knowledge-action-transformation.
