Propuestas para el nuevo paradigma educativo de la historia

Abstract

[Resumen] En este estudio se defiende la necesidad de un nuevo paradigma educativo de la historia en alianza con el nuevo paradigma historiográfico propuesto por la red temática Historia a Debate, basado simultáneamente en tres ejes: una educación en competencias en el manejo de las fuentes históricas desde la enseñanza secundaria, y ajena por lo tanto al mercantilismo propagado de manera fundamentalista por la OCDE y otras instituciones inter- nacionales; una educación en valores universales desde la historia; y una educación crítica y plural de las historias nacionales y mundial. Reflexiones y propuestas que tienen en cuen- ta los debates en marcha sobre la unificación del espacio europeo de la educación superior.

[Abstract] This study upholds the need for a new educational model of history in conjunc- tion with the new historiographic model proposed by the general subject matter of the Debate on History, based simultaneously on three basic focal points: an education that will provide skills in the use of history sources in secondary education, and therefore, an edu- cation which is not party to the fundamentalist mercantilism propagated by the OECD and other International Institutions; an education in universal values from the standpoint of his- tory; and a critical and pluralist education of the history of nations and the world. These are reflections and proposals that must be taken into account in the current debates being carried out on the unification of the European space for higher education.
