Reflexiones sobre la implementación de un proyecto ApS sobre transporte sostenible

Abstract

[Resumen:] El proyecto titulado “Proyecto de Aprendizaje Servicio sobre la Ingeniería Civil como motor de la sostenibilidad integral en el ámbito del transporte: afirmado de carreteras y movilidad sostenibles” se desarrolló por primera vez durante el curso 2022/2023 en dos asignaturas del Grado de Ingeniería de Obras Públicas de la Universidade da Coruña (UDC). A raíz de su implementación pudieron obtenerse una serie de reflexiones y consideraciones. En la presente investigación se describe la experiencia en una de las dos asignaturas, Caminos y Ferrocarriles. Durante el proyecto, el alumnado preparó exposiciones, con sesiones presenciales, con el fin de “informar y concienciar a la sociedad” sobre la necesidad de realizar una construcción sostenible de firmes. Se considera que el aprendizaje fue un éxito, pero no así el servicio, que es susceptible de mejora, utilizando, por ejemplo, un lenguaje menos técnico en los pósteres preparados para las exposiciones.

[Abstract:] The project titled “Service Learning Project on Civil Engineering as a driver of comprehensive sustainability in the field of transportation: sustainable affirmation and mobility” was performed for the first time during the 2022/2023 academic year in two subjects within the Engineering Degree of Public Works of the University of A Coruña (UDC). Following its implementation, a series of reflections and considerations were obtained. This research describes the experience in one of the two subjects, Roads and Railways. During the project, the students prepared exhibitions, with face-to-face sessions, in order to “inform and raise awareness among society” about the need to carry out sustainable construction of pavements. It is considered that the learning was successful, but not so the service, which is susceptible to improvement, using, for example, a less technical language in the posters prepared for the exhibitions.
