Vieiros literarios do ecofeminismo en Galicia e Irlanda

Abstract

[Resumo] O presente traballo reúne a escritoras actuais de Galicia e Irlanda que reflexionan sobre a práctica ecofeminista da súa escrita. As súas achegas identifican os principais debates de hoxe sobre a relación da muller coa natureza nun espazo, como o da literatura, que é especialmente privilexiado para, non simplemente representar o mundo, senón imaxinalo e configuralo doutros xeitos menos destrutivos da outredade. Estas escritoras (narradoras e poetas) comparten unha ecorrexión, a Atlántica, que afronta desafíos semellantes, pero mesmo desde as súas diferenzas, as autoras achegan reflexións de relevancia mutua ás dúas comunidades sobre, entre outras cuestións, a muller e o seu corpo, a muller do rural, muller e animalidade, o antropomorfismo e o cambio climático.

[Abstract] This section brings together a number of present-day women writers from Galicia and Ireland who reflect upon the ecofeminist dimension of their writing. In their contributions, they identify the main current debates on the relationship between women and nature in a medium, like literature, that is especially privileged not just to represent the world but to imagine and configure it in alternative forms that may be less destructive towards otherness. These women writers of fiction and poetry share an ecoregion, the Atlantic one, that faces similar challenges, although even from their sundry differences, these authors contribute reflections, which are of mutual relevance to both communities, about women and their bodies, women in rural communities, women and animality, anthropomorphisim, and climate change.
