Abstract

[Resumen] Este artículo rastrea [os orígenes y evolución de [as actividades desplegadas por [os maes- tros españoles con vistas a su organización societaria y sindical. Ta[es actividades se encarnan en e[ pro- ceso de prolesiona[ización experimentado por este colectivo -a [a par que otros- a[ hilo de [as distintas fases de desarrollo de [os servicios públicos. La perspectiva de tiempo [argo que adopta e[ análisis obliga a realizar caracterizaciones de [os periodos más signilicativos en términos de sus rasgos más dilerencia- [es y sobresalientes: [os orígenes asociacionistas, [a evolución hacia e[ sindicalismo en [os años veinte y treinta, e[ "sindicato único" en e[ Iranquismo y [a conquista de [a legalidad sindical en [a democracia.

[Abstract] This artic[e traces the origins and evo[ution 01 activities dep[oyed by Spanish schoo[teachers in the organization 01 associations and labor unions. These activities are represented by the process that this group underwent to become prolessiona[- which occurred at the same time as in other groups- in fine with the different stages 01 deve[opment in the pub[ic services. The broad-ranging perspective 01 the ana[ysis, in terms 01 time, makes it necessary to characterize the most significant periods, highlighting their most differentia[ and outstanding traits: the origins 01 the creation 01 associations, the evo[ution towards the creation 01 labor unions in the 1920's and 30's, the "one-union" system during Franco's regi- me and the victory [eading to the [ega[ization 01 labor unions under democracy.
