Abstract
[Abstract] Since the advent of the printing press, royal marriages have been an inexhaustible source of information that was transmitted largely through the news pamphlets. There are numerous testimo-nies preserved about such events; being one of the most important weddings of the Golden Age, for the printed production that caused, the marriage between Felipe III and Margarita de Austria. In the present work, the editorial repercussion of that wedding was analyzed, including a bibliographic catalogue of news pamphlets preserved and located on the above mentioned event. In this way, and thanks to the compilation of the news, aspects such as the great informative impact that this celebra-tion had, the repercussion of the wedding or the transmission of the news through a large part of the European continent, as well as the interest of leaving written evidence of an event of such magni-tude, are discerned.
