Abstract
[Resumen] El Modernismo arquitectónico de
principios del siglo xx, en países como
España y en particular en ciudades
periféricas como A Coruña estuvo
claramente influido por la Sezession
vienesa.
ciudad, confirma dichas influencias [Abstract] The architectural Art Nouveau of the
early twentieth century in countries
such as Spain, and particularly in
the more peripheral cities such as
A Coruña, was clearly influenced by
the Vienna Sezession. The figure of
Otto Wagner, and in particular the
influence of publications about his
work, and that of his followers, on
the Madrid and Barcelona schools
of Architecture was fundamental.
An analysis of the library of the
architect Julio Galán, who designed
several of the most important works
of architecture in A Coruña, confirms
these influences
