| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | [Abstract] Until now, network devices had always been configured manually by their administrators, requiring them individual attention to each of the devices. Over the years, the number of devices and services has progressively increased to the point where this way of managing network equipment has become unsustainable. To alleviate this problem, the different tasks needed for system administration are beginning to be automated. Currently, there are different approaches to implement network automation. In this work, we have selected some of the most significant ones and applied them to various use cases. Specifically, we compare three automation tools (Netmiko, Ansible and RESTCONF) using a development cycle such as PPDIOO. After implementing functions such as the creation of VLANs or the application of ACLs, we simulate their operation in a development environment. This environment is identical to that used in the subjects related to communication networks in the Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity taught at the Universidade de Vigo and at the Universidade da Coruña. | es_ES |
