Percepção ambiental: um critério de qualidade no âmbito da EA?

Abstract

[Resumo] É sabido que cada pessoa consegue perceber, reagir e responder de maneiras diversas em relação a um mesmo problema ambiental presenciado no local onde habita. Essa realidade pode ser atribuida as percepções do individuo e do coletivo amparadas por julgamentos e expectativas de cada um. Nesse sentido, a percepção ambiental pode conduzir pessoas a uma interpretação mais abrangente da paisagem onde vivem. Assim, o cuidado e o respeito com o meio ambiente ganha mais espaço na relação homem-natureza. A princípio, o título do artigo pode ocasionar um incômodo aos leitores, pois a resposta nos parece ser óbvia. No entanto, o objetivo desta pesquisa é ofertar uma reflexão mais aguçada sobre a pergunta travestida de título. Para tanto, o texto científico será estruturado em um breve histórico sobre a percepção ambiental, e posterirmente, será abordada a relação desta com a educação ambiental. E, por último, como parte integrante da estrutura textual, tem-se a reflexão a respeito do título. E, ainda, o trato de duas outras perguntas contextualizadas a percepção ambiental: Que papel pode ter a Educação Ambiental no desenvolvimento sócio econômico em uma comunidade? Quais as chaves para o incremento de iniciativas de sucesso e sustentáveis?

[Abstract] It is known that each person can perceive, react and respond in different ways in relation to the same environmental problem witnessed in the dwelling place. This reality can be attributed perceptions of the individual and the collective supported by judgments and expectations of each. In this sense, the environmental perception can lead people to a broader interpretation of the landscape where they live. Thus, care and respect for the environmente get more space in the man-nature relationship. At first, the article title may cause a nuisance to readers because the answer seems to be obvious. However, the objective of this research is to offer a sharper reflection on the question title travesty. Thus, the scientific text will be structured in a brief history of environmental awareness, and posterirmente, its relationships with environment education will be addressed. And finally, as part of the textual structure, there is the reflection on the title. And yet, the treatment of two other questions contextualized environmental perception: What role can the environmental education in the socio economic development in a community? What are the keys to the success and growth of sustainable initiatives?
