Educação ambiental e participação na formação de professores

Abstract

[Resumo] Neste trabalho será analisada e problematizada a necessária inserção da Educação ambiental na educação formal, aqui especificamente por meio de sua inserção nos currículos dos cursos de formação dos professores para educação básica - importantes sujeitos neste processo de inserção da EA -, discussão concernente à ainda comum forma de organização curricular fragmentada, em que se observa a falta de integração entre conteúdos e áreas do conhecimento e ao tratamento superficial da temática ambiental nestes currículos. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo compreender possibilidades de inserção da Educação Ambiental nos currículos de cursos de formação de professores, base para a experiência colocada em prática numa Instituição de Ensino Superior privada, por meio de um projeto interdisciplinar desenvolvido num curso de Pedagogia. As reflexões trazidas aqui, embasadas nos pressupostos da EA crítica e da dialética como referencial teórico-metodológico, buscam também apontar e discutir alternativas para contribuir com a superação de obstáculos historicamente consolidados, práxis realizada na formação de pedagogos, que ganhou forma nesta experiência com práticas pedagógicas mais participativas, instauração de espaços/tempos dedicados a participação dos professores formadores de professores e dos futuros professores nas decisões concernentes ao processo de formação inicial.

[Abstract] It is known that each person can perceive, reach and respond in different ways in relation to the same environmental problem witnessed in the dwelling place. This reality can be attributed perceptions of the individual and the collective supported by judgements and expectationns of each. In this sense , the envonmental perception can lead people to broader interpretation of the landscape where they live. Thus, care and respect for the environment get more space in the man-nature relationship. At first, the article title may cause a nuisance to readers because the answer seems to be obvious. However, the objective of this research is to offer a sharper reflection on the question title travesty. Thus, the scientific text will be structured in a brief history of environmental awareness, and posteriorirmente, its relationship with environmental education will be addressed. And finally, as part of the textual structure, there is the reflection on the title. And yet, the treatment of two other questions contextualized environmental perception: What role can the environmental education in the socio economic development in a community? What are the keys to the success and growth of sustainable initiatives?
