El juego del aprendizaje matemático

Abstract

[Resumen]: Las matemáticas están presentes en la vida de los niños y niñas desde edades tempranas, formando parte activa de sus primeras experiencias. Son un instrumento básico que les permite ordenar, establecer relaciones, situar en el espacio y el tiempo los objetos que los rodean, realizar mediciones... En educación infantil juegan un papel fundamental puesto que sirven de base para futuros aprendizajes. A través de este trabajo se quiere realizar una investigación acción en el aula para comprobar los resultados del uso de una metodología basada en el juego en la enseñanza de las matemáticas y cómo esta repercute en el aprendizaje de las mismas. La muestra está formada por 26 alumnos y alumnas de 5º de Educación Infantil (4 años) de un CEIP público. Los análisis del estudio se llevan a cabo mediante la observación participante, el diario de aula, el análisis de las producciones del alumnado, las asambleas… Los resultados revelan que el juego tiene una importancia fundamental en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de las matemáticas, contribuyendo a un mayor gusto y entusiasmo por las mismas. Así mismo, se comprobó que el alumnado está más motivado y se siente más capaz de conseguir los retos propuestos; no tiene miedo al error y se siente más animado a resolver diferentes problemas, desarrollando actitudes positivas hacia las matemáticas.

[Abstract]: The Mathematics are present in the children´s lives from an early age, forming an active part of their first experiences. They are a basic instrument that allows them to order, establish relationships, place in space and time the objects that surround them, make measurements... In pre- school education they play a key role as they serve as the basis for future learning. Through this work we want to conduct an action research in the classroom to check the results of using a methodology based on the game in the teaching of mathematics and how it affects the learning of the same. The exhibition consists of 26 students of 5 º of pre-school education (4 years) of a public school. The analyses of the study are carried out through the participant observation, the Classroom diary, the analysis of the student's productions, the Assemblies...The results reveal that the game has a fundamental importance in the teaching process of mathematics, contributing to a greater taste and enthusiasm for them. Likewise, it was found that the students are more motivated and feel more able to achieve the proposed challenges; He is not afraid of error and is more encouraged to solve different problems, developing positive attitudes towards mathematics.
