Valoración del estado nutricional en el anciano

Abstract

[Resumen] La alimentación en el anciano es un tema de gran actualidad y en el que influyen múltiples factores no sólo dependientes de él, sino también socio-culturales y de otras índoles que van a generar hábitos nutricionales, provocando en muchos casos un mal equilibrio nutricional y la subsiguiente pérdida de poder defensivo ante las agresiones externas; es por ello, que antes de establecer ningún tipo de terapia sustitutiva será necesario valorar su estado nutricional.

[Abstract] The feeding in the elder is a theme of a great importance nowadays in which a lot of factors have an influence. Factors not only dependent on it, but also social and cultural and others type factors which are going to generate their nutritional habits producing in many cases a bad nutritional balance and the loss of the defensive power before the external aggresions, so that before establishing any type of substitutive therapy it will be necesary to value his/her nutritional state.
