dc.description.abstract[Abstract] We present a measurement of the branching fractions and charge-parity-(๐ถโข๐‘ƒ-)violating parameters in ๐ต โ†’ ๐œ”โข๐พ decays. The results are obtained from the final data sample containing 772ร—106 ๐ตโข๐ต pairs collected at the ฮฅโก(4โข๐‘†) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy ๐‘’+โข๐‘’โˆ’ collider. We obtain the branching fractions โ„ฌโก(๐ต0 โ†’ ๐œ”โข๐พ0) = (4.5 ยฑ 0.4โข(stat) ยฑ 0.3โข(syst)) ร— 10โˆ’6,โ„ฌโก(๐ต+ โ†’ ๐œ”โข๐พ+) = (6.8 ยฑ 0.4โข(stat) ยฑ 0.4โข(syst)) ร— 10โˆ’6 which are in agreement with their respective current world averages. For the ๐ถโข๐‘ƒ-violating parameters, we obtain ๐’œ๐œ”โข๐พ0๐‘† = โˆ’0.36 ยฑ 0.19โข(stat) ยฑ 0.05โข(syst), ๐’ฎ๐œ”โข๐พ0๐‘† = +0.91 ยฑ 0.32โข(stat) ยฑ 0.05โข(syst),๐’œ๐œ”โข๐พ+ = โˆ’0.03 ยฑ 0.04โข(stat) ยฑ 0.01โข(syst), where ๐’œ and ๐’ฎ represent the direct and mixing-induced ๐ถโข๐‘ƒ asymmetry, respectively. We find no evidence of ๐ถโข๐‘ƒ violation in the decay channel ๐ต+ โ†’ ๐œ”โข๐พ+; however, we obtain the first evidence of ๐ถโข๐‘ƒ violation in the ๐ต0 โ†’ ๐œ”โข๐พ0๐‘† decay channel at the level of 3.1 standard deviations.
