Abstract
[Resumen] En el presente artículo presentamos los
resultados obtenidos en un estudio transversal
de carácter cuantitativo llevado a cabo en el
curso académico 2006-2007 con profesores
de primer, segundo y tercer ciclo de la
Universidad de A Coruña (UDC) que utiliza-
ban sistemas de e-learning como complemen-
to a sus clases presenciales.
De los diversos objetivos establecidos en
dicha investigación, uno de ellos se circunscri-
bía en conocer cuáles eran las principales
necesidades y expectativas del colectivo
docente, identificando posibles aspectos defi-
citarios y las acciones que podrían acometerse
desde el gobierno de la universidad para supe-
rar las limitaciones y problemáticas existentes
en materia de integración de TIC y usos de sis-
temas de e-learning. Para responder a este pro-
pósito se elaboró y aplicó un cuestionario a
través del que se recogieron las opiniones y
propuestas de los docentes que apoyaban su
docencia en la denominada Facultad Virtual.
[Abstract] This article shows the results of a cross- sectional research carried out during the 2006-07 academic year in the University of A Coruña between the faculty of undergraduate and graduate programs who have used e-lear- ning systems as a complement to their con- ventional face-to-face lessons. Among the different objectives of this research, one aimed to know which are the main needs and expectations of the faculty, and to identify which are the current lacks and the actions the University Board could deve- lop to overcome the current limitations and concerns regarding ICT integration and the use of e-learning systems. To this end, a ques- tionnaire was elaborated and delivered, and the perspectives and suggestions from the faculty who is currently involved in the so- called Facultade Virtual were also collected.
