De conmemoraciones y Quijotes especulativos: el fondo cervantino de la biblioteca valleinclaniana

[Resumen] A través del fondo cervantino disponible en la biblioteca de Valle-Inclán, este artículo ilumina nuevas propuestas de lectura e investigación a propósito de los ecos del autor alcalaíno en la obra del escritor gallego. Para ello se recurre a la crítica literaria coetánea a Valle-Inclán, a las ediciones ilustradas de textos cervantinos de inicios del XX y a la emergencia de nuevos géneros de ficción especulativa que utilizan el Quijote como subtexto antes de 1936. By considering the Cervantine collection in Valle-Inclán’s personal library, this article offers new proposals for reading and research regarding the echoes of Cervantes in the work of the Galician writer. To achieve this goal, the present article examines literary criticism contemporary to Valle-Inclán, illustrated editions of Cervantine texts from the early 20th century, as well as the emergence of new genres of speculative fiction before 1936 that use Don Quixote as a subtext.
