Abstract
[Resumen] Hemos utilizado una muestra representativa
de 100 profesores de 38 centros escolares
públicos de infantil y primaria de la provincia
de Castellón. El profesorado identifica 20
funciones del tutor y 24 tipo de actividades
tutoriales. Teóricamente, la tutoría es una
tarea individual del tutor, centrada principalmente
en el grupo de alumnos y en conocer y
ayudar a los alumnos individualmente. En la
práctica la tutoría es una labor de relaciones
públicas. Existen discrepancias significativas
entre las funciones del tutor que el profesorado
considera básicas y las actividades que se
realizan.
[Abstract] We have used a representative sample of 100 teachers in pre-school and primary public schools of Castellon. 20 tutorial functions and 24 sort of tutorial activities have been identified by teachers. In the theory, the tutorial action is a individual task, focused in pupils as a group, in knowing and helping the pupils individually. In the practice, the tutorial action is a task of public relations. Finally, there are significant divergences between the tutorial functions the teachers consider basic and the activities that are realised
