Abstract
[Abstract]: The automotive sector is undergoing a significant digital transformation, where both mechanical workshops and dealerships must adapt to new customer demands, such as online appointment booking, real-time notifications, and digital budget management. Currently, there are tools that focus on specific tasks or comprehensive but closed specific dealership management systems (DMS - Dealer Management Systems). This work aims to design and develop an integrated web platform oriented towards the digitalization of an automotive workshop. The proposed solution combines in a single system the necessary modules to provide complete support to all tasks and processes related to workshop management, from vehicle buying and selling to stock management and business analytics. The system must be modular, scalable, and easy to use, adapting to the specific needs of each workshop and allowing integration with other existing tools and systems. Furthermore, the platform must offer a smooth and intuitive user experience, ensuring customer satisfaction and the efficiency of the workshop’s internal processes. For this purpose, a hexagonal architecture is used, employing Java along with Spring Boot on the backend and Angular on the frontend, and following an agile development methodology based on Scrum.
