Abstract
[Resumen] La intención en este trabajo es ayudar a la
reflexión sobre los desafíos del desarrollo
universitario, desde las constantes más sobresalientes
del proceso y sobre sus manifestaciones
más genuinas: el desarrollo de sistemas
universitarios regionales y la definición
de perfiles universitarios que permitan identificar
y comprender en un mercado, cada vez
más competitivo, las propuestas de extensión.
La extensión universitaria tiene una proyección
social indiscutible y el sentido público
y social de la universidad reclama sin lugar
a dudas la comunicación institucional para dar
una respuesta coordinada a la responsabilidad
compartida del desarrollo universitario.
La definición de perfiles y el conocimiento
mutuo de las instituciones universitarias
favorece el desarrollo de sinergias, el fortalecimiento
en el cumplimiento de las misiones
de la universidad, la clarificación de las oportunidades
de colaboración con la sociedad
civil y la consolidación de las redes tecnoeducativas,
tecno-económicas y tecno-académicas
de gestión y de apoyo a la docencia, la
investigación y la proyección cultural, social
y productiva de la universidad
[Abstract] The intention in this work is to help to the reflection on the university development challenges, from the most excellent constants in the process and about its more genuine manifestations: the development of regional university systems and the definition ofuniversity profiles that allow to identify and to understand in a market, more and more competitive, the proposals about universitary extension. The universitary extension has an unquestionable social projection and the public and social sense of the university claims, without place to doubts, the institutional communication to give an answer coordinated to the shared responsibility of the university development. The definition of university profiles and the mutual knowledge of the university institutions encourage the development of syner-gies, the invigoration in the execution of the missions of the university, the clarification of the opportunities of collaboration with the civil society and the consolidation of the tecno-educational, tecno-economic and tecnoacademic nets of administration and of support to the teaching, the investigation and the cultural, social and productive projection of the university
