Abstract
[Resumen] Este trabajo se acerca al Camino de Santiago
que realizaban los peregrinos que llegaban a
Galicia a través del mar desde los puertos del
Báltico, Países Bajos, Países Escandinavos,
norte de Francia, y sobre todo, los ingleses e
irlandeses. Nuestro interés se centra en el
vínculo que se estableció entre Irlanda y
Galicia relacionado con esta ruta de peregrinación,
así nos acercaremos a los principales
hechos históricos irlandeses relacionados con
Compostela, adentrándonos en diferentes
períodos de la historia y arte que vinculan a
ambos países desde la prehistoria
[Abstract] This work is about the Road to Santiago by pilgrims who had arrived in Galicia by sea from ports of the Baltic, The Netherlands, Scandinavia, northern France, and especially English and Irish. Our interest is in the link was established between Galicia and Ireland related to the pilgrimage route, and we go to the main historical facts related to Irish and Compostela entering at different periods of history and art that bind the two countries since prehistory
