Abstract
[Resumo] o estudo, dividido em quatro partes distintas,
porém interligadas entre si, aborda um
tema atualíssimo, polemico e político - que é
conseqüencia da política neoliberal imposta
pelos países hegemónicos e que afeta a cultura
e a educação da sociedade hodierna.
Tecnologia x Educação: a face oculta da
Internet é urna problemática que merece ser
analisada criticamente e com diferentes olhares
pela academia e segmentos sociais.
Inicialmente, de maneira sinóptica, retroceder-
se-á a história para localizar a ciencia e a
tecnologia. Em seguida, a Internet e a educação, em suas diferentes interfaces, sao analisadas.
Através de um estudo exploratório,
cuja população/amostra é constituída de solteiros,
casados e homossexuais, sao analisados
o conteúdo e o discurso que internautas
do chat Terra utilizam para interagir, e sao
disponibilizados algumas inferencias decorrentes
deste estudo. Finalmente, a título de
reflexao e estudos ulteriores, sao apresentadas
algumas considerações finais em relação a
temática.
This study, divided in four distinct parts, but interlinked to each other, approaches an issue that is very present, polemic and political - a consequence of the neoliberal policy imposed by hegemonic countries and affects cultural and educational issues of today's society. Technology X Education: the hidden face of Internet, is the kind of matter which deserves to be analyzed critically and under different views by the academy and social groups. At first, in a synoptical manner, there will be a historic overview to place science and technology. Following, education and Internet are analyzed, according to their different interfaces. Dnder an exploratory study, whose population/corpus is made up of single or married men and women, homosexuals, the contents and speech that internet users employ in the chat section of internet provider Terra are focused as well as it's shown sorne inferences resulting from this study. In the last part of the study, sorne highlights are presented for future studies and thinking.
