Abstract
[Abstract] With this investigation it is tried to design a questionnaire to measure the anxiety towards the mathematics of the students of Secondary Education Obligatory and to analyze his factorial structure as well as the coefficient of reliability of the instrument. Sample: the definitive sample randomly forms 1220 students of Obligatory Secondary Education chosen between all the schools public, deprived and arranged (scholastic centers privated with public financing) of A Corunna and the courses of 1º, 2º, 3º and 4º. Methodology: A questionnaire for the collection of data was made, that were analyzed by a group of experts and applied to a group pilot. Later it was applied to the sample. Results: An instrument of 24 items with a global reliability ,9504 in the final sample was obtained. The instrument is divided in five factors: anxiety before the evaluation, the temporality, the understanding of the mathematical problems, before the numbers and mathematical operations and mathematical situations of the real life
