Maternidades contemporáneas en Latinoamérica: Una lectura desde la vanguardia pictórica y la literatura actual

Abstract

[Resumen] En este artículo presentamos una reflexión sobre la maternidad como sujeto artístico y examinamos su presencia o ausencia en el discurso de la cultura contemporánea y observamos su realización en las creaciones de las mujeres artistas. Proponemos también una lectura de varias obras pertenecientes a dos disciplinas artísticas, pintura y literatura, separadas aproximadamente por un fragmento temporal de un siglo, desde el surrealismo pictórico hasta la literatura actual.[Abstract] This article presents a reflection on motherhood as an artistic topic and examine its presence or absence in the discourse of contemporary culture as we consider the materialization of this discourse in the works of women artists. Our proposal is reading several works belonging both to artistic disciplines, painting and literature, separated approximately by a century that go from the pictorial surrealism to the current literature
