Abstract
[Resumen] El objetivo del presente trabajo es efectuar
una crítica constructiva a algunas de las ideas
expuestas por Colom (2000, 2002) y Colom y
Andrés-Pueyo (1999). Defienden la tesis del
libro de Herrnstein y Murray (1994) para justificar
las diferencias biologicistas del coeficiente
de inteligencia (CI) entre las comunidades
autónomas del Reino de España. Se
concluye que dicha interpretación es falsa.
Proponemos explicaciones socioculturales
alternativas.
[Abstract] The objective of the present paper is to carry out a constructive criticism of some of ideas exposed by Colom (2000, 2002) and Colom and Pueyo (1999). They defend the thesis of the book of Herrnstein and Murray (1994) to justify the biologicistic differences in the intelligence quotient (IQ) between the independent regions of the Kingdom of Spain. We conclude that this interpretation is false and propose alternatives sociocultural explanations.
