Abstract
[Resumo] A Historia da Educación das Mulleres como disciplina académica naceu nun
contexto de desenvolvemento dos "Estudios das Mulleres" nas Universidades españolas.
Así o pon de manifesto este traballo en que se fai un percorrido polo apoio recibido dese
campo de estudios, polo que esta disciplina achega dentro das historias sectoriais, e polas
confluencias que mantén coa 'nova historia'. Nunha segunda parte céntrase nas modalidades
de introducción destes temas no currículo escolar, ó sentido que ten, ás funcións
sociais que desempeña, ás finalidades que persegue e ó seu deseño docente como disciplina
dentro dos planos de estudio; para terminar ofrecendo unhas liñas e uns contidos
concretos para a elaboración dun programa temático da disciplina.
[Abstract] The History of !he Education of Women as an academic subject developed within the context of the 'Women's Studies' in the Spanish Universities. This article highlights this through an analysis of !he support provided by this field of study, leading to !he acceptance of this subject in !he context of sectoral history and through the common ground it shares with !he "new history". The second part discusses how these topics were introduced into the syllabus, their meaning, social roles, goals aspired to and !he design of !he teaching materials as a subject in the curricula. Lastly the article offers sorne specific guidelines and contents to prepare a program for this subject.
