Abstract
[Resumen] El objetivo del presente trabajo es realizar un
estudio de la formación que la Universitad Jaume
I ofrece a los estudiantes de Psicología para intervenir
de manera eficaz en una situación de desastre.
La muestra está compuesta por 48 estudiantes
de 40 de Psicología. Para contrastar la opinión de
los estudiantes también se pidió la opinión del
anterior Director de titulación y la actual
Directora así como de los autores del presente
trabajo. El instrumento de evaluación es el "cuestionario
sobre formación académica de los psicólogos
las en la un en intervención psicológica en
desastres". Los datos revelan, por un lado, como
se produce un acuerdo al considerar que los planes
de estudio de Psicología de la UJI ofrecen
poca formación a los estudiantes para intervenir
de forma eficaz en una situación de desastre, y
por otro lado nos permite establecer estrategias
de actuación para que los estudios de Psicología
puedan aportar una preparación básica para la
intervención eficiente de los psicólogos.
[Abstract] The aim of this paper is to present a study into the training offered by Vniversitat Jaume 1 to Psychology students in the efficient intervention in a disaster situation. The sample is made up of 48 fourth year Psychology students. The opinion of the former and present degree directors and the authors of this paper are taken into account to contrast with the opinion of the students. The evaluation instrument used is the questionnaire on the academic training of psychologists in the VJI in psychological intervention in disasters. Data reveal that firstIy, there is consensus that the VJI Psychology degree programrne of study offers little training to students on efficient intervention in a disaster situation, and secondly, they enable us to establish action strategies so that studies in Psychology may provide basic training leading to efficient intervention by psychologists
