Desde entonces parece apostar por el desarrollo del turismo cultural como actividad para su progreso socioeconómico y la revitalización de su casco histórico. Para lograr este cometido resulta necesaria la implicación de los actores locales; una población que conozca y valore su identidad, patrimonio y cultura para poder venderla de la mejor forma posible. ¿Existe una identidad cultural y patrimonial construida y reforzada recientemente para poder dar respuesta a las exigencias de turistas y visitantes? ¿Convive en la ciudad una complicidad por parte de los actores locales para que este proyecto se convierta en una realidad? En esta investigación se responderá a las preguntas planteadas. Since then it seems to bet on the development of cultural tourism as an activity for its socio-economic progress and the revitalization of its historic center. To achieve this goal, the involvement of local actors is necessary; a population that knows and values it´s identity, heritage and culture in order to sell it in the best possible way. Is there a cultural and patrimonial identity recently built and reinforced in order to respond to the demands of tourists and visitors? Is there a complicity on the part of local actors in the city for this project to become a reality?
