After pre-cracking, specimens were exposed to tap water (TW) and CO₂-saturated water (W-CO₂), under both continuous immersion and variable humidity conditions, for 28 and 90 days. Self-healing was assessed using the Crack Sealing Index (CSI), the Impermeability Recovery Index (IRI) and SEM–EDS analysis. Curing in TW promoted effective crack sealing in both mixes, with CSI values of 95–100% for cracks ≤90 µm. In contrast, curing in W-CO₂ significantly reduced the CSI of the reference concrete to 60–70%, whereas the sustainable mix showed higher CSI values (increases of 25–30%) and a marked improvement in IRI, reaching 75–85% under variable humidity.
