The proposed procedure involves a minimization technique that requires the numerical simulation of the travelling waves to obtain the optimal material parameters. Numerical results are compared with experimental data to validate the procedure.engCC-BY-NC-ND 4.0 licensehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/es/Material propertiesNon-destructive testingRayleigh wavesFinite element methodYoung modulusDetermination of Young modulus by using Rayleigh wavesjournal articleopen access10.1016/j.apm.2019.07.051
