Desafíos éticos y técnicos en la lucha contra la discriminación algorítmica y el sesgo sistémico

Abstract

[Resumen]: A lo largo de este TFG se mostrarán diferentes publicaciones académicas relacionadas con la lucha contra la discriminación algorítmica para contextualizar este proyecto, además de explicar los diferentes sesgos existentes y cómo tratarlos. También se mostrarán diferentes herramientas que son de especial utilidad para este tipo de problemas y se emplearán varias de ellas tanto con datos públicos como con datos ofrecidos por la ONG Ecos do Sur, con la que se colaboró para realizar este TFG. Por último, abordaremos el tema desde un punto de vista legal, donde analizaremos qué dictan las leyes en Europa, España y en otros países como Estados Unidos y China acerca del desarrollo de sistemas de inteligencia artificial no discriminatorios.

[Abstract]: Throughout this dissertation, we will show different works related to algorithmic discrimination in order to contextualize this work, as well as to explain the different existing biases and how to deal with them. We will also show different tools that are particularly useful for this type of problem, and we will use some of them both with public data and with data provided by the NGO Ecos do Sur, with which we collaborated to carry out this dissertation. Finally, we will approach the issue from a legal point of view, where we will analyze what the laws in Europe, Spain and other countries such as the United States and China dictate about the development of non-discriminatory artificial intelligence systems.
