Abstract
[Abstract] Acting spontaneously in someone else´s interest in diverse activities without being forced or authorized to do so constitutes a sign of human solidarity and has been practised in all cultures and in all times. However, in the following lines we will start highlighting the most relevant aspects of the management of other people´s affairs included in the Roman Law. Moreover, the mentioned management (or agency) is also included in the Mediaeval codes and from these it passes to the modern legislations. In all times limits to the proceedings of the agent are established as we will later explain in the article
