Abstract
[Abstract] In this study we analyse three mythic fables written by Samaniego, compared with the similar texts by Aesopus, Babrius, Phaedrus and La Fontaine. The original versions of the Spanish writer help us to reflect on the creative possibilities of attentive reading at school and tasks such as comparisons of texts and emulation.
