Abstract
[Resumo]: Nun contexto post-pandémico da COVID-19, onde era de vital importancia evitar aglomeracións en espazos pechados e manter o distanciamento social, xurdiron dificultades para acceder a diversos lugares públicos como eran as bibliotecas para os estudantes. Este traballo crea unha solución para este problema desenvolvendo unha aplicación para dispositivos Android que proporciona aos usuarios unha maneira práctica, cómoda e rápida de verificar a dispoñibilidade de espazos para estudar ou traballar nas bibliotecas pertencentes á súa comunidade universitaria. O sistema baséase na tecnoloxía Near Field Communication (NFC) para o control de aforamentos. A arquitectura do sistema está composta por un frontend desenvolvido en Android, un backend que xestiona a autenticación e a xestión de postos de traballo, e unha base de datos que almacena a información de usuarios e reservas. Esta solución permite unha xestión eficiente dos espazos de estudo, mellorando así a experiencia dos usuarios nas bibliotecas.
[Abstract]: In a post-pandemic context of COVID-19, where it was vital to avoid gatherings in enclosed spaces and maintain social distancing, difficulties arose in accessing various public places such as libraries for students. This work creates a solution to this problem by developing an Android application that provides users with a practical, convenient, and quick way to check the availability of spaces for studying or working in libraries belonging to their university community. The system is based on Near Field Communication (NFC) technology for occupancy control. The system architecture includes a frontend developed in Android, a backend managing authentication and workstation management, and a database storing user and reservation information. This solution enables efficient management of study spaces, thereby improving the user experience in libraries.
