Trazabilidad de Fake News y Deepfakes a través de Blockchain y contratos inteligentes

Abstract

[Resumen]: Hoy en día, la desinformación se considera un gran desafío, especialmente con el auge de las redes sociales que se utilizan como plataformas para difundir desinformación en forma digital. A diario, multitud de gente se informa a través de Internet, lo que les expone al consumo de noticias falsas y vídeos manipulados, y que puede provocar cierta confusión en la sociedad. Este trabajo ha consistido en la creación de una solución a este problema con el objetivo de detectar y prevenir este tipo de contenido, además de estudiar la trazabilidad de la información. El sistema hace uso de la tecnología Blockchain debido a sus características y la posibilidad de despliegue de un Smart Contract, que junto con un sistema de reputación ayudará a combatir las noticias falsas y la desinformación.[Abstract]: Nowadays, misinformation is seen as a big challenge, especially with the rise of social media being used as platforms to spread misinformation in digital form. Every day, many people get information through the Internet, which exposes them to the consumption of fake news and manipulated videos, and that can cause certain mess in society. This work has consisted of creating a solution to this problem with the goal of detecting and preventing this type of content, as well as studying the traceability of the information. The system makes use of Blockchain technology due to its characteristics and the possibility of deploying a Smart Contract, which together with a reputation system will help combat false news and misinformation.
