Sistema para la detección de árboles usando tecnología LIDAR

Abstract

[Resumen]: En este trabajo se propone el uso de LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) para la detecciónde árboles. Para ello buscaremos desarrollar un algoritmo basado en características tridimensionalesla estructura árbol, en concreto en la linealidad de sus troncos. Después se realizarándiversas pruebas con un dataset conformado por tiles del repositorio de Luxemburgo, en elque la mayor precisión obtenida a la hora de detectar los árboles fue del 87 %.[Abstract]: In this work, we propose the use of LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) for tree detection.To achieve this, we will develop an algorithm based on three-dimensional features of the treestructure, specifically focusing on the linearity of their logs. Subsequently, various tests willbe conducted using a dataset composed of tiles from the Luxembourg repository, where thehighest accuracy achieved in tree detection was 87 %.
