Abstract
[Abstract]: Nowadays, efficient warehouse management has become a critical factor for the success of logistics operators, distributors, and manufacturers. In this context, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) play a fundamental role by providing comprehensive control over inventory and internal flows. Easylog WMS is a warehouse management system developed by Easylog Soluciones Tecnológicas SL, a Spanish company founded in 2010 with the goal of offering technological solutions to optimize logistics operations. Aligned with the continuous evolution of Easylog WMS, the Dock Management module has been included in its product roadmap. This module addresses the critical need to adequately manage truck entry and exit operations at loading docks, which involve multiple constraints related to business requirements, security, efficiency, and productivity. The main objective of this Final Degree Project is to design and implement the Dock Management module for Easylog WMS, thereby providing a tool to effectively plan and coordinate dock access, loading, and unloading operations in warehouses. The developed solution will initially be validated by a real client, with the intent to subsequently integrate it as a standard feature within Easylog’s product offering, benefiting both current and future customers requiring advanced and coordinated management of their logistics operations.
