Abstract
[Resumo] o obxectivo deste traballo consiste en abordar o estudio da situación na que se atopaba a lin-
gua galega no sistema educativo no primeiro tercio do século XX. En primeiro lugar, preséntanse unha
serie de valoracións críticas desta situación leitas desde o movemento galeguista. Tamén presentamos
os argumentos esgrimidos polo galeguismo na delensa do ensino como lactor importante de transmisión
e adquisición de competencia e pautas de comportamento lingüístico. Finalmente, describimos a posi-
ción do prolesorado ante a normalización lingüística para o ensino.
[Abstract] The purpose 01 this article is to examine the study 01 the situation 01 the Galician language in the school system during the first third of the XXth century. We first present a series 01 critical reviews 01 this situation by the Pro-Galician movement. Also discussed are the arguments given y the Pro-Gali- cian movement in delense 01 education as an important factor in transmitting and acquiring competence and linguistic behavioral patterns. Lastly there is a description 01 the position 01 the teaching staft on lin- guistic standardization in education.
