Abstract
circular. Conseguimos un total de 334
participantes de 15 de las 17 comunidades
autónomas españolas, aunque principalmente de
Galicia, cuyos años de nacimiento oscilaban entre
1981 y 1996 (M=1986,76) y de los cuales 91 eran
hombres y 243 eran mujeres. La mayoría de ellos
con estudios universitarios.
[Abstract] The millennial generation, youngs born between the early 80s and the mid 90s, has been a generation marked by important events such as the digital revolution and the economic crisis that began in Spain in 2008, which has largely conditioned their foray and further development in the labor market. It is the best educated generation, but with worse working conditions. They live in a panorama of uncertainty and job insecurity, which in turn conditions other aspects of their lifes, such as the delay in the age of emancipation and marriege, as well as the purchase of a home. The purpose of this work has been to know the development of this generation in the workplace. To do this, we developed a specific questionnaire that was divided into three sections: a first classification section (sociodemographic block), a second section where they were asked about their first job and subsequent evolution in the market, and a third section divided in turn in one dedicated to active workers and another to those who were unemployed. The survey was distributed online through the different social networks (Linedin, Facebook and Twitter) as well as among Friends and acquaintances who also circulated it. We obtained a total of 334 participants from 15 of the 17 Spanish autonomous communities, although mainly from Galicia, whose birth years ranged from 1981 to 1996 (M=1986,76) and of whom 91 were men and 243 were women. Mosto f them with university studies
