Abstract
[Abstract] The sedimentary sequence studied represent part of the holocene transgression in the galician coast in a section of a Ría. 14C dating place this episode in the SubBoreal. Sedimentary and palaeoecological environments represented correspond to a little freshwater litoral pond of 380 years invaded by the sea brief1y in the begining of its history and at the end (4000 years B.P.). subsequently it was fossilized by progradant dunes evolving now to a transgressive beach level.
