Abstract

[Abstract] The search for architectural solutions for emergency situations is an important line of research. In this article, the most appropriate conditions for the different situations that can turn up after a disaster will be analyzed and proposals for temporary housing will be presented. These are possibly the most suitable solutions for developed countries. The design and calculation of an experimental wooden module, built at the University School of Architecture in A Coruña, which has served as a prototype to analyse its viability in practice, will also be presented. Finally, there will be a critical review of the results and possible improvements detected.
