[Resumen] La naturaleza y el momento de comienzo de utilización del legatum per vindicationem
y el legatum per praeceptionem han sido objeto de estudio en numerosas
ocasiones.
En este breve trabajo se concluye a través del estudio de dos fuentes ya examinadas
(Val. Max. 4, 3, 5 y Plin. Nat. His. 33, 38) y una tercera que se propone (Val.
Max. 7, 8, 4), que el legatum per praeceptionem comenzó a utilizarse en los inicios
del siglo I a.C.
[Abstract] The nature and the moment in which each of legatum per vindicationem and legatum per praeceptionem started to be used and were blended, have been discussed for a long time among Roman succession law scholars. In this brief paper, it is sustained - through the evidence furnished by two main sources (Val. Max. 4, 3, 5 and Plin. Nat. His. 33, 38) and a third one (Val. Max. 7, 8, 4) which is suggested - that legatum per praeceptionem started to be used in the beginning of the I century b.C..
