[Resumen:] Texto íntegro de la Conferencia pronunciada el día 3 de diciembre de 2013 en el Salón de
Grados la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela con motivo de los actos
conmemorativos del 50 aniversario de la Compilación del Derecho civil especial de Galicia de 1963,
relativa al proceso formativo de la indicada norma, que, con el transcurso del tiempo, cabe considerar
como trascendental para el posterior desarrollo del Derecho civil de Galicia
[Abstract:] Full text presented at the Conference held on 3rd december 2013 at the Faculty of Law, University of Santiago de Compostela. This paper, submitted on the occassion of the 50th anniversary celebration of the Galician Civil Law Compilation 1963, aims at analysing the formative process of the mentioned regulation which, over time, has reached a special relevance with respect to the development of the Galician Civil Law.
