Más allá de la penumbra: la adaptación litúrgica de las iglesias italianas y la iluminación artificial

[Resumen] En Italia, el tema de la adaptación de las iglesias a la reforma litúrgica es objeto d documentos oficiales de la Iglesia local, pero también es un argumento que se encuentra constantemente en el centro de atención de la opinión pública y no solo de los especialistas. Con menos conciencia, el tema de la iluminación artificial de las iglesias se considera un factor que contribuye a la adaptación de los espacios litúrgicos a la reforma conciliar. Un elemento, la iluminación artificial, que puede producir innovación operando discretamente en el contexto material del edificio en beneficio de la conservación. Se trata de un tema no sencillo, que este breve ensayo contextualiza también con la ayuda del examen de intervenciones recientes llevadas a cabo por el autor en iglesias de valor histórico y artístico.[Abstract] The theme of the adaptation of churches to the liturgical reform is, in Italy, the subject of official documents of the local Church and is also a topic that is constantly in the spotlight of public opinion, not only of specialists. With less awareness, the issue of the artificial lighting of churches is considered a factor that contributes to the adaptation of liturgical spaces to the conciliar reform. An element, that of artificial lighting, which can bring innovation by operating discreetly in the material context of the building, for the benefit of conservation. This is not a simple argument, and this short essay contextualizes it with the aid of the examination of recent interventions in churches of historical and artistic value carried out by the author.
