[Abstract] This paper purports to examine the relationship between law and politics in Carl Schmitt’s thought. Among the different aspects of the work of the German jurist, this is the one which, more than others, offers to the contemporary scholar the opportunity to develop critical considerations about the ongoing European juridical and philosophical debate.
