Aprendizaxe permanente en contornas dinámicas: enfoques compositivos para a robótica

Abstract

[Resumo]: A intelixencia artificial aspira a crear axentes que comprendan o mundo e aprendan das súas experiencias. A aprendizaxe automática de por vida permite a estes axentes adaptarse constantemente a novos problemas, capturando coñecemento para resolver novas tarefas. Se o axente é capaz de acumular o coñecemento nalgunha forma de representación compositiva, podería entón reutilizar selectivamente e combinar esas pezas para construír solucións novas, permitíndolle resolver problemas diferentes pero estruturalmente relacionados. O obxectivo xeral deste proxecto é o de implementar e aplicar modelos de aprendizaxe composicional, sobre datos reais no ámbito da robótica, para avaliar o seu comportamento en contornas dinámicas.[Abstract]: Artificial intelligence aims to create agents that understand the world and learn from their experiences. Lifelong machine learning allows these agents to constantly adapt to new problems, capturing knowledge to solve new tasks. If the agent is able to accumulate knowledge in some form of compositional representation, it could then selectively reuse and combine those pieces to build new solutions, allowing it to solve different but structurally related problems. The overall goal of this project is to implement and apply compositional learning models, on real data in the field of robotics, to evaluate their behaviour in dynamic environments.
