Abstract
[Abstract] The electoral political design established in our country from the year 2014, has brought with it a cluster of structural changes in the democratic transition. Circumventing the bases established by a compact system of parties, has meant a constant struggle for major channels of citizen participation, far from the prevailing partisan dominance. In this paper, it is intended to reveal the problems that independent candidatures have had and continue to have in the Democratic building of Mexico. Specifically, from the legislative design that envelops the idea of permission and equality in the electoral contest.
