Experiencias de los pacientes con pie diabético

Abstract

[Resumen] Objetivos: Objetivo general: Explorar las experiencias de los pacientes con pie diabético en el manejo de su autocuidado. Objetivos específicos: - Describir la percepción de los pacientes con pie diabético en relación al asesoramiento y atención podológica recibida. - Conocer el significado que los pacientes con pie diabético atribuyen a su enfermedad y al riesgo de amputación, así como al impacto en su vida social. Metodología: Investigación cualitativa, de perspectiva fenomenológica. La población de estudio serán los pacientes con pie diabético que acuden a la Clínica Universitaria Podológica del Área Sanitaria de Ferrol, utilizando un muestreo intencionado. Se realizarán entrevistas semiestructuradas para la recogida de los datos y se llevará a cabo el análisis de contenido.[Abstract] Objectives: General objective: To explore the experiences of patients with diabetic foot in the management of their self-care. Specific objectives: - To describe the perception of patients with diabetic foot in relation to the advice and podiatry care received. - To know the meaning that patients with diabetic foot attribute to their illness and to the risk of amputation, as well as to the impact on their social life. Methodology: Qualitative research, from a phenomenological perspective. The study population will be the patients with diabetic foot who come to the University Podiatry Clinic in the Sanitary Area of Ferrol, using an intentional sampling. Semi-structured interviews will be conducted for data collection and content analysis will be carried out.
