Grupos de autoconocimiento en el movimiento para la salud de las mujeres durante la transición política española: el self-help y el autoconocimiento desde una perspectiva pedagógica

Abstract

[Resumen] Aproximación a la historia el movimiento de salud de las mujeres y del movimiento self-help en el Estado español durante los años 1976 a 1985. Esta perspectiva, con una marcada intención educadora, se centraba en la transformación de la vida de las mujeres a través del autoconocimiento del cuerpo y el cuestionamiento del conocimiento médico. Tuvo gran influencia en colectivos feministas que percibían la necesidad de liberación de las mujeres a través del cuerpo, pero también en otros ajenos al feminismo pero de carácter progresista. Veremos el contexto de sus inicios en EE.UU. y cómo se traslada y difunde en nuestro país durante la Transición política española. Conoceremos su desarrollo a lo largo de esos años y los principales colectivos que se enmarcan en esta perspectiva hasta 1985, cuando se produce un cambio sustancial en el activismo en su conjunto debido a la institucionalización de la agenda feminista.[Abstract] Approach to the history of the women's health movement and the self-help movement in the Spanish State during the years 1976 to 1985. This perspective, with a marked educational intention, focused on the transformation of women's lives through of self-knowledge of the body and the questioning of medical knowledge. It had great influence in feminist collectives that perceived the need for the liberation of women through the body, but also in others that were alien to feminism but of a progressive nature. We will see the context of its beginnings in the USA. and how it moves and diffuses in our country during the Spanish political transition. We will know their development throughout those years and the main groups that are part of this perspective until 1985, when there is a substantial change in activism as a whole due to the institutionalization of the feminist agenda.
