"Trato, sociedad y compañía" en la comarca de Ferrol, 1750-1849

Abstract

[Resumen]: El artículo persigue cuantificar y evaluar el impacto de la creación de la factoría naval ferrolana a través del estudio de la formación de compañías mercantiles en la comarca entre mediados del siglo XVIII y las primeras décadas del siglo XIX. El análisis de dichas sociedades pone de relieve el gran ciclo expansivo de la segunda mitad del mencionado siglo XVIII y sus protagonistas, así como el cambio de ciclo económico que se produjo en la primera mitad del siglo XIX, enlazando con las series temporales de investigaciones anteriores. [Abstract]: The article seeks to quantify and evaluate the impact of the creation of the Ferrol naval factory through the study of the formation of companies in the region between the middle of the 18th century and the first decades of the 19th century. The analysis of these firms highlights the great expansive cycle of the second half of the XVIII century and its protagonists, as well as the change of the economic cycle in the first half of the 19th century, linking with the time series of previous researchs.
